New Jersey-born grappler Gordon Ryan has revealed that he has received offers in the seven-figure range to compete in mixed martial arts (MMA).
Ryan, who is known for his exceptional grappling skills and membership in the renowned Danaher Death Squad (DDS), has achieved significant success in jiu-jitsu tournaments. He won gold in the 88kg category in 2017 and returned in 2019 to triumph in both the -99kg class and the absolute openweight. In 2022, he further solidified his dominance by winning the 99kg division.
Despite his focus on grappling, Ryan has expressed interest in transitioning to MMA. The seven-figure offers he has received indicate that there is significant interest in his potential as a mixed martial artist, particularly given his grappling prowess.
